At Peleni's Guest House, just south of central Alofi, near Swan Jessops, rooms come with shared baths and cooking facilities. A double one could be found at about 30 US$, and is clean, quiet and very well maintained. You can also rent cars or vans for 35 to 40 US$ a day. You couldn't find any better, trust me :)
